Faith to Action Network
Nairobi, KENYA, 30 May 2019 (F2A) – The Faith to Action (F2A) Network, Council of Anglican Provinces of Africa (CAPA), African Council of Religious Leaders – Religions for Peace ACRL-RfP) and All African Conference of Churches (AACC) call upon their member organisations to submit proposals for funding.
The objective of this call for proposals is to support local interfaith and intercultural initiatives in Burundi, Egypt, Kenya, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda to promote pluralism, interfaith and intercultural understanding with a focus on enhancing understanding, tolerance and respect for cultural and religious diversity among youth at risk of radicalisation. Supported initiatives must primarily focus on young people, be gender-transformative, and be implemented at community level.
Eligible applicants are legal persons and non-profit-making and established in Burundi, Egypt, Kenya, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. They must be a member organisation of Council of Anglican Provinces of Africa (CAPA), Faith to Action Network (F2A), African Council of Religious Leaders – Religions for Peace (ACRL-RfP) and/or All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC), with a preference of youth- and women led organisations. This call for proposals opens on 30 May 2019.
Deadline for submission of proposals: 16 June 2019
Funding: The call for proposals offers grants of up to 3,000 €.
