Faith to Action Network
This manual is designed to be used as a reference for religious leaders (RLs), Imams and Preachers, in addition to anyone who is involved in offering guidance and increasing awareness among individuals. The manual provides important information regarding family health, in accordance to Islamic values, and in accordance with changing societal requirements. It includes nine training sessions covering: the RLs’ role in advocating for family welfare, mixed-gender relations in Islam, Islam and family health, Islam and safe maternity, Islam and birth spacing, leadership skills, mobilizing local communities toward better health standards, setting up action plans and impact measurement, and training manuals and tools evaluation.

As part of global commemoration of the World Inter harmony week, through the JISRA programme, our member Muhammadiyah brings together young people from different faith formations to act for the environment. Another example that religion is a great builder of bridges.
For Ahsan Hamidi an activist with Eco Bhinneka, the chance for people with various religious backgrounds to meet, discuss, and work together while caring for the environment allows clarity and progress where there are differences that have arisen on the basis of prejudice”. What is your story of inter faith harmony this week?
Share with us and we shall share it with the world.
