• Faith Leaders Reaffirm Commitment to Family Planning and Youth Empowerment at ICFP 2025.

Bogota, Colombia – November 6, 2025

As the curtains closed on an inspiring week at the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP 2025) in Bogota, Colombia, faith leaders and youth representatives from across the globe came together to make a powerful declaration of unity and purpose.

During the conference’s closing session, the ICFP Faith Subcommittee, co-chaired by Faith to Action Network, reaffirmed its collective commitment to breaking stigma, advancing education, and championing equitable access to family planning within faith communities.

“We acknowledge the challenges and the need for continuous education and advocacy to reduce stigma and promote access to family planning in our faith communities. We commit to working together as youth and faith leaders to challenge harmful misconceptions and uphold the dignity, health, and agency of young people.”

The Faith Subcommittee also emphasized the need for stronger partnerships to influence policies, sustain funding, and ensure equitable access to family planning supplies and services for all.

This commitment reflects the growing recognition that faith actors are central to achieving universal access to reproductive health, their voices, values, and influence play a pivotal role in shifting norms, building trust, and driving sustainable impact.

As ICFP 2025 concluded, the message from faith leaders was clear: faith and family planning are not at odds, they are powerful allies in advancing health, dignity, and justice for all.

Faith to Action Network remains proud to stand alongside global faith partners in this shared mission, continuing to amplify interfaith collaboration and youth leadership in the pursuit of a healthier, more equitable world.
