Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tri Hastuti Nur R, lecturer in communication studies, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. She graduated her doctoral in Gajah Mada University and focus in communication sociology (2015). Master degree of communication studies in Indonesia University (2002) and bachelor from Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta in mass communication (1994). Research and publication focus in gender and media, gender and development, communication sociology, social inclusion (GEDSI). She has participated in visiting lecturer program in USIM and USM Penang Malaysia. She has been trainer in GEDSI and gender equality.
She has been Head Communication Department in University Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (2004-2009), Dean in Economic, Social and Humanities Faculty in ‘Aisyiyah University Yogyakarta (2019-2023), Head of Research and Development National Board of ‘Aisyiyah (2010-2015), General Secretary in National Board in ‘Aisyiyah (2015-up to now) and managing program partnership ‘Aisyiyah with Australia Embassy (2012-up to now) as like MAMPU and INKLUSI program, cooperation with John Hopkins University, cooperation with Unicef, Mia and Leo Foundation, IPAS Foundation, editorial Board of Suara ‘Aisyiyah Magazine (2015-up to now). She has been board of NGO in SPEKHAM work, NGO that work in violence against women and Sekar Kawung in sustainability environment.
She was participating in some course Leadership Course in Sidney University (2020), Gender Women Empowerment, conducted by JICA (2000), Monitoring and Sustainability Program, conducted by MDF (2018), Participatory Learning and Action Training, Unicef-Japan (2006), Lecturer Exchange of Multicultural, conducted by CCE and Department of State USA, (2008), Muslim Lecturer, conducted by France Embassy in Paris, December 2012.
