Faith to Action Network mobilizes faith actors for healthy, inclusive, just and peaceful communities. We are a southern-led global interfaith network of more than 215 member and partner institutions in 38 countries, spanning Baha’i, Buddhist, Confucian, Hindu, Christian, African Traditional, and Muslim faiths.
We engage faith actors to promote family health, women's rights, gender justice, and peaceful, fair, and inclusive communities.
We use evidence and faith-based programs, along with dialogue and advocacy, to empower our members to transform systems and policies by fostering collaboration and reducing polarization.
Members and partners seek solutions, address polarization, and collaborate for the common good. They represent diverse religious organizations, including clergy and lay people, women, youth, men, religious congregations, and health, service, and educational institutions.
Faith to Action Network coordinates interfaith efforts, advocates for change, and strengthens faith institutions. Its secretariat implements projects, shares evidence, and uses participatory approaches to support locally-driven, large-scale initiatives.

As faith communities, we are called to care for the whole person, addressing physical, social, spiritual, emotional, and economic dimensions of wellness. We recognize the challenges faced by women, adolescents, and youth, including limited access to information and services, teenage pregnancy, gender-based violence, and HIV. Guided by our faiths, we advocate for life-giving knowledge and access to information and services, promoting healthy sexuality, violence prevention, and informed decision-making to help individuals and communities thrive.
Every human being is valuable and deserves respect. Human beings possess inherent dignity. We deeply worry about the questioning, hindering, and rolling back of women's rights, leadership, and participation in families, communities, societies, and politics. We seek to promote positive reinterpretations of sacred texts that affirm equality and dignity for all. We, as faith communities, will persist in our efforts to teach and embody the principle of equality for all individuals, irrespective of their sex or gender.
We urge our communities to challenge harmful traditions, uplift life-giving practices, and advocate for gender equality in laws, policies, and everyday actions.
Faith to Action Network believes that we are all interconnected and responsible for each other's welfare, guided by the principle of Ubuntu: "I am because you are." In an increasingly unequal world, we are alarmed by social hostilities, religious and ethnic tensions, and the marginalization of young people. As faith communities, we reject stigma, discrimination, and violence done in the name of faith, upholding the inherent dignity of all.
